This old-school kind of sprout has stayed consistently great for backyard growers. Its deliciousness and evenness have stood the test of time, with robust, towering plants reaching up to 60 cm and bearing 50 to 100 dark green sprouts, each diameter measuring about 2.5 cm, all along the strong spine. It's got a good flavor and yields an exceptionally large harvest. Also called the "Catskill" version, it's been around since the 1890s, still beloved by Northeastern North American gardeners for its reliable and scrumptious sprouts!
