Catmint forms a low growing mound topped by 30 cm high flower spikes. Individual plants can spread to 40 cm across. This perennial is very easy to grow from seed and if it is started early enough, it will flower in the first year of growth. Like its relative Catnip, Catmint will attract cats. This plant can be aggressive so many gardeners confine this plant with some form of edging.
