A playful, frost-resistant variety with dark pink to reddish skinned roots, measuring 15-20 cm in length and 5-6.5 cm in diameter. The crisp, juicy, and pungent flesh is irresistible. However, caution must be taken as the winter radish roots can't survive winters harsher than Zone 8. Believed to have been grown since the late 1880s.
