This shelling pea grows up to 75 cm in height. There is no sweeter, more delicious pea than this one! Pods are pointed, dark green and rather slender. Each pod contains 7-9 large, mouth-watering, very sweet, deep green peas that have a distinct superior flavour and are excellent fresh or for freezing. This early 1900’s introduction is the standard by which all the others are graded.
