Shishimai produces loads of mildly hot shishito peppers throughout the season. The thin-walled, medium-green peppers grow 7-9cm long and are perfect for sautéing or grilling with a sprinkle of coarse salt. These plants produce so many peppers that they'll need staking for support. Pick them while they're still green and at full size to keep the harvest coming all season long.
